Signature capability

One-click benchmarking.

Choose what to compare. KLIKER builds the comparison, matched and standardised, and hands it back ready to export. No pivot tables, no VLOOKUP, no manual product matching.

What “one-click” actually means

The hard part of benchmarking is never the chart — it is getting comparable rows. KLIKER does the matching and standardisation up front, so when you pick a dimension the comparison is already valid. You benchmark retailers, brands, technical specifications, pricing, promotions and stock, and every result is exportable to Excel.

KLIKER benchmarking: seven Samsung television models compared across the Samsung brand shop, MediaMarkt-Saturn and Amazon.de on the German market, each cell showing the minimum price against the regular price, with promotion flags and a link to price history.
One row per matched model; each seller’s minimum price against its own regular price, with promotion flags where one is running.

Six ways to benchmark

01

Retailers

Who is cheapest on this model, who is out of stock, who is running the promotion, who never listed it at all.

Retailer execution becomes measurable
02

Brands

Your portfolio against the competitive set across the same retailers, categories and periods.

Share-of-shelf arguments with evidence
03

Technical specifications

Compare like with like — screen size, capacity, energy class, feature set — instead of matching on product names that never match.

Fair comparisons across brands
04

Pricing

Regular price, promotional price and price history side by side, with positioning against the market average.

Price gaps you can act on
05

Promotions

Which promotions are running where, with what mechanic, how deep and for how long.

Promotional pressure quantified
06

Stock

Availability across retailers and how quickly stock comes back after it runs out.

Availability problems caught early

Every benchmark is exportable to Excel — or, if you run it every week, convertible into a live Excel report or a scheduled report.

Why it holds up

Matching is the product

A benchmark is only as good as the product matching underneath it. That is the work KLIKER does before you ever open a view.

  • Source-specific extraction — each retailer is handled on its own terms
  • Product matching — the same model recognised across retailers and naming conventions
  • Standardisation — attributes and specifications brought into one comparable structure
  • Validation states — records carry their validation status, so unverified data does not silently become a chart
  • History checks — sudden anomalies are caught against the product’s own history

How the data works

KLIKER My Market, detail: a finished comparison of phone models across four retailers, already matched, with minimum and regular price per retailer.
One row per matched product, minimum and regular price for every retailer that lists it.

Questions

Benchmarking FAQ

How does KLIKER know two listings are the same product?

Products are matched and standardised during processing, using source-specific extraction plus attribute and specification data rather than product titles alone. Records carry validation states and are checked against their own history, so unverified matches do not silently end up in a benchmark.

Can I benchmark against products that are not mine?

Yes — that is the normal case. You define the competitive set, and the benchmark compares your portfolio against it across the retailers, categories and periods you license.

Can I export the benchmark?

Yes. Every benchmark exports to Excel. Recurring benchmarks can also be scheduled as automated reports or delivered as a live Excel workbook that refreshes on demand.

Does benchmarking cover promotions and stock, or only price?

It covers price, promotions, stock and availability, plus technical specifications and assortment. Price alone rarely explains why a retailer is winning or losing a category.
